We’re currently on a Disney cruise (I know, poor us). For the past few weeks I’ve been telling the boys about our itinerary, flying out of San Francisco, going to Miami, yadda yadda yadda.

Well, last week Bryce asked me when we were going to visit “Your Ammy”. It threw me for a second, what was your ammy? Apparently every time I said “Miami”, Bryce heard “my ammy” which he assumed was some relative.

I almost died laughing. I mean seriously, so cute! Of course how was he to know there was a city called Miami?? They know so much but then surprise me with their innocence. Love!

I wanted to have some sort of Super Bowl food post go up while I was gone and time was not on my side. Suitcases EVERYWHERE, tons of blog work to be completed, you know the drill. I had been wanting to share this one with you for awhile and I knew it would take no time at all so Spicy Ranch Popcorn it is!

I love a good easy snack or appetizer – emphasis on easy. This Spicy Ranch Popcorn will NOT disappoint. Forever ago I shared my Aunt Pam’s Spicy Ranch Crackers which she makes every Christmas. It occurred to me awhile back that this recipe could easily be converted to popcorn…and it’s awesome!

I love the combination of spicy and ranch and nothing is easier and more crowd-friendly than popcorn.

Whether you’re making up a batch for movie night or for the big game – you’re sure to love it! Keep in mind that you can easily adjust the spiciness level by decreasing or increasing the amount of red pepper flakes. I used about 1.5 tablespoons and it was perfect for us.

Always love having another popcorn recipe. Fresher and less expensive than all of the commercial brands popping up all over.

Would it work to mix the ranch with butter, or is the oil best?

This popcorn will be on my Super Bowl menu! I know the guys will love it! I’m sure you are having a wonderful time on the cruise and say Hi to “your Ammy” 🙂 Years ago, we stayed in a beach cottage in Carmel … my then 4-year-old called it the beach college 😉

I’m confused how this takes an hour. Don’t you just stir everything? Or does it have to go in the oven. There’s no preheat or temperature instructions though.

I guess if I can’t go on a Disney cruise, eating this is a close second. Hope you’re having fun out there on the open sea!

I love popcorn and ranch, so ranch flavored popcorn has got to be good! This would be the ultimate game day snack!
