PIN IT NOW!!

Ohmygosh. Tomorrow is the last day of school for the boys. I seriously can’t even believe it. Reece insisted that I spend some time in his class today helping out. Apparently I’ve helped in Bryce’s class more…someone has been keeping track and it sure the heck isn’t me!

Of course with the end of school comes lots and lots of minimum days. Super fun for the boys and a dry run for me on how to work with the boys home. These bars are the result of our efforts.

5 SECRETS TO GETTING DINNER ON THE TABLE...FAST!

So I did it again.

I can’t help it. I’m addicted to these crazy-easy crumble bars. Four ingredients. Total bliss. Can you blame me?

I’ve shared a couple varieties of this crumble bar before – cherry and blackberry. I’ve been making these bars for as long as I can remember and I am awed at how yummy and EASY they are each and every time.

My boys love these bars. They love to help make them. They love to eat them. Especially warm from the oven with a big (GIANT) scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Life just does not get any better.

Ok I made these now how do I get it cut and out of the pan so I can plate them on a serving platter without making a huge mess of them?

    Hi Trish,
Do these blueberry squares freeze well. I want to bake ahead of the function.

Cake mixes are just the best! I love your idea for dressing up a cake mix to make these bars. Blueberries are my favorite, so I can’t wait to try this.

How many days approximately would these survive? I’m traveling for Christmas and looking for something I can make on Tuesday and serve on Friday. Thanks!

Trish, what size can are you talking about? I see as wide as 12 oz – 21 oz cans available. That’s quite a difference in a recipe that could make or mess it up if too much. Thanks! Great looking recipe!!

Hi Trish! These look great I was wondering about the cake mix. The cake mix should be made first right or just use the dry mix? Sorry for the lame question.

    Thanks,

    Sam

Hi im a girl from sweden and I adore the looks of your baking and would love to try it out, but they dont sell produkts like: yellow cake mix or blueberry pie fillings, in sweden. So I wonder whats inside the cake mix and how much is a can of blueberry pie filling and could I for example be able to switch it to blueberry jam?

Keep up the good work and greetings from sweden 😉

(sorry for any bad english xD)

No, you really can’t Kristen. It would have the right consistency.

When you said four ingredients I was like, ‘say it isn’t so!’ These crumble bars look sooo good. Mmmm with big scoop of ice cream, I couldn’t imagine anything better. Those strawberry bars look amazing too! Will pin 🙂
