Cookie FAQs

  1. How long do these cookies last? Let cookies cool all the way and store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
  2. Can I freeze these cookies? Of course! Freezing cookies are a fantastic way to always have something sweet on hand. Keep them in a freezer-safe bag or a container with a tight-fitting lid. They will easily last 2-3 months in the freezer. To eat, set them on the counter at room temperature until they have thawed. Don’t add the glaze before freezing. Let the cookies thaw and then add the glaze.
  3. Can I make the cookies ahead of time? The cookie dough can be made in advance and chilled for up to 2 days before baking.
  4. What supplies or tools will I need? This is a pretty basic cookie bar recipe that doesn’t use any fancy equipment. Here’s what you’ll need to have on hand:
    • 11×17 inch sheet pan
    • silicone baking mat

    • hand mixer or stand mixer
