Juicy Salsa Burgers made with a secret ingredient! | MomOnTimeout.com

Grilling is definitely a summer pastime that our entire family enjoys. There’s just something about a meal cooked on the grill that just tastes that much better. Burgers are a family favorite and we’re always looking for ways to change up the burgers to keep them fresh, exciting, and delicious. Hellman’s is currently celebrating their 100 Year Anniversary (woo-hoo!) and have partnered with Mario Batali and Safeway to come up with some incredibly delicious summer recipes that the whole family will LOVE!

Hellman’s challenged me to create one of Mario Batali’s recipes and see if my family could guess what the secret ingredient was. I was SO excited to try out this Juicy Salsa Burger recipe (although several more have made my short list…) and couldn’t wait to see the difference Hellman’s Mayonnaise made in the burger. I knew right away as I was mixing the burgers up that it was going to be incredibly moist and juicy. I think shredding the onions is pure GENIUS (yeah, I’m talking to you Mario!) and will be using that trick in future burger creations for sure!

The burgers turned out amazing and my hubby had no clue that I had used mayonnaise! The burger itself was so tender and flavorful and then that salsa on top….AMAZING! I love how unique and fresh the burgers tasted and I can’t wait to make some of these burgers for friends and family.

The disappearing Buffalo chicken dip recipe sounds intriguing. I have a recipe that I generally use for Buffalo chicken dip, but this one sounds easier. 🙂
