Chris has been going on and on about me making appetizers for when he’s watching football.  He’s all like “It’s not just apple and pumpkin season…it’s football season too!”  Wah, wah, wah.

Whatevs.  So, I made him these Buffalo Wing Pretzel Sticks.  I mean what screams football more than buffalo and pretzels?

These pretzels are super easy to make and will feed a crowd or several very hungry husbands.  My blender blue cheese dressing is the ideal dip for these sticks. Just cut up some celery and maybe some carrots and you’re all set!

While these pretzels look innocent enough, they are definitely hot.  Buffalo hot.  If you really are into torture, as in you like it screamin’ hot, add in a teaspoon or two of cayenne.  Course, you might not have any tastebuds left after that…

  12. These look great, but I am wondering if the extra salt is necessary since the pretzels are already salty? Thanks!

  13. Made these today for football, they are amazing!!! I added a 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper and had to bake 10 min longer. Thanks for this recipe I can’t wait to hear the reviews!!

  14. I have Franks hot buffalo wing sauce and its really spicy, do I have to add all the other ingredients since it looks like it already has them in it already? Just wondering if I can do sauce & pretzels and bake if you think it would come out o.k.?? Thank You.

  15. Question for you, I need to make these for 400 people. How long do you think they would stay good for, sealed in a ziplock or container?
    Thanks

  16. These look sooooooo amazing!

  17. These were terrible. They are soggy and you never get that cruch back of the unlisted pretzel.

  20. Lynne Fisher says:

Made these today for a friend who loves everything hot. I used Frank’s Xtra Hot Sauce, and moved the pretzels from a jelly pan to two cookie sheets after the first 10 minutes (they seemed to be a little soggy). Turned out nice and crispy.

Turned out great – she’s telling everyone how great they are! And they were super easy to make, which is always a plus. Thanks for the recipe!
