Greek Yogurt Berry Smoothie Pops are a healthy and satisfying treat for a hot day!

Greek Yogurt Berry Smoothie Pops are a healthy and satisfying treat for a hot day! Easy to make and super kid friendly! | MomOnTimeout.com | #recipe

Summer has definitely arrived early! Bryce and I hit the park at about 10 this morning and you would have thought it was mid-afternoon in July the way I was sweating. Bryce wasn’t phased except to tell me that his bike helmet was making his head “schwetty”. We made it a good hour before heading back home but it made me super thankful for these smoothie pops that I had popped into the freezer right before we left. They weren’t ready until after Reece got home but they were absolutely worth the wait!

These smoothie pops are the bomb! Seriously. This is a treat that even I can enjoy and my nutritionist would approve of (right Stepanie??). Three ingredients: Greek yogurt,  frozen berries, and milk. They take just seconds to make and are heavenly on hot afternoons. I love watching my boys enjoy these smoothie pops because I know they are inhaling calcium, protein, and antioxidants AND they think they are getting an amazing treat. Which they totally are because the pops are delicious! Want a lick?

I just popped a batch of these in the freezer in my new rocket Popsicle molds. I only had European style plain yogurt in the frig, and used frozen blueberries with a little bit of milk (the European style yogurt is runnier then regular yogurt). I also added a teaspoon of coconut palm sugar to increase the sweetness. Next time I might cook the berries down to enhance their flavor and sweetness.

Thanks Ginn! Those are actually straws from Target Gina 🙂 I just cut them in half and they worked pretty good but not as good as popsicle sticks for sure!
