The Avengers Cupcakes

June 4, 2012

Reece’s birthday is at the end of the month and what that means to him is that he doesn’t get to celebrate his birthday with his class since school will be out. Last Thursday I decided to bring in some cupcakes so that he could celebrate his birthday at school. We went with The Avengers theme since that is his birthday party theme. I made up some cupcakes and decorated them with M&Ms. I did Captain America’s shield, Thor’s Hammer, Iron Man’s mask and The Incredible Hulk

I think they turned out really cute and although my husband was laughing hysterically when I told him the cupcakes “looked just like the Avengers” and told me that I needed to get some more sleep, the kids really enjoyed them and were able to recognize what I was trying to create with the M&Ms. And that’s what counts right? That, and there was candy on their cupcakes 😉

My favorite was the Incredible Hulk:

It’s always fun to bring goodies into a class full of kindergartners. They are SOOO appreciative!
