Ingredients

  • 3-4 ripe bananas approx 1 1/2 cups mashed
  • 3/4 cup chunky peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup Reese's Peanut Butter chips
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 6 tbsp butter softened
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Peel and mash the bananas.
  • Add in the butter and peanut butter and stir until well combined.
  • Add in the egg and vanilla until well combined.
  • Combine the dry ingredients.
  • Add the dry ingredients and Reese's Peanut Butter chips into the wet ingredients and stir just until combined. Do not overmix.
  • Grease and flour a bread pan and the pour the mixture in.
  • Let the bread bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let the bread cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing.

Storage Information
  • Room Temperature: Perfect for enjoying within a few days. Wrap the cooled bread tightly in plastic wrap or store it in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
  • Refrigerator: Store the bread in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
  • Freezer: For extended storage, the bread can be stored in the freezer. To prevent freezer burn, wrap the cooled loaf tightly in plastic wrap and then again in aluminum foil. Frozen banana bread can be stored for 3 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before enjoying.
