  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 7 cups water divided
  • 3 sprigs mint
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • ice


  • Bring sugar and 2 cups of water to a boil. Reduce heat to medium high and let simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Stir in mint sprigs, orange juice, lemon juice, orange zest, and lemon zest. Let sit for one hour.
  • Strain, removing mint and zest.
  • Stir in the remaining 5 cups of water and pour over ice.
  • Serve immediately with fresh lemon slices and min sprigs.
