  • 3 tbsp ground ancho chili powder
  • 2 tbsp ground cumin
  • 2 tbsp dried granulated garlic
  • 2 tbsp coarse-grind black pepper
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground or dried thyme


  • Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and use a fork or whisk to combine.
  • Transfer seasoning into an airtight container or spice jar and store for up to 6 months.
