Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • cup brown sugar dark brown or light brown, firmly packed
  • cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon finely ground sea salt
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips

Dippers

  • graham crackers, vanilla wafers, fresh fruit (strawberries, apples, etc.) pretzels, broken waffle cones, etc.

Instructions

  • Heat the flour by placing in a microwave safe dish and heat in 15 second increments at 50% power until the flour reaches 160°F or higher. Let the flour cool completely. Sift the flour after it's cooled to remove any lumps.
  • Using a stand mixer or hand mixer, beat the cream cheese and butter in a large bowl until light and fluffy, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  • Add the brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, baking soda and salt and beat until well combined.
  • Mix in the sifted flour until combined. Stir in the mini chocolate chips.
  • Serve the dip immediately or store, covered, in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Serve with your favorite dippers.

Storage Information
This dip should be stored in an airtight container, or tightly covered, in the refrigerator. The dip will be good for 3 to 4 days. After several hours, the dip will firm up a bit so you may want to allow for 10 minutes or so for the dip to sit at room temperature to soften. This cream cheese cookie dough dip should not be frozen.
