Ingredients

  • 1 package Hawaiian sweet rolls 12 count package
  • ½ cup unsalted butter divided
  • 3 teaspoons honey
  • 1 pound deli ham thinly sliced
  • 8 ounces Swiss cheese slices
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • ¾ teaspoon dried onion flakes
  • ¾ teaspoon dried garlic flakes
  • ½ teaspoon coarse sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  • Use a sharp knife to cut the sweet rolls in half. You can choose to leave the rolls stuck together or separate them.
  • Place the bottom part of the rolls in a 9x13 inch baking dish that has been light sprayed with non stick cooking spray. Set aside.
  • In a small bowl, melt 3 tablespoons of the unsalted butter. Stir in the 3 teaspoons of honey and brush the honey butter mixture over the rolls in the pan.
  • Top the rolls with half of the deli ham. Lay the cheese slices evenly over the ham and top with the other half of the ham. Place the tops of the rolls on top of the ham.
  • In a small bowl, melt the remaining 5 tablespoons unsalted butter. Mix in the everything poppy seeds, sesame seed, dried garlic flakes, dried onion flakes, salt, dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Pour the seasoned butter mixture evenly over the sliders. Cover and allow the sliders to chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour or up to 24 hours. *This step allows the butter mixture to soak into the sliders. If you prefer, you can skip this step and bake the sliders right away.
  • Preheat your oven to 350° F. Bake the covered sliders for 15 minutes. Uncover the sliders and continue to bake for another 10 minutes or just until the tops begin to brown and the cheese has melted.
  • Cut the sliders apart if you haven’t already and serve warm.
