6 cups shredded green cabbage 2 cups shredded purple cabbage 1 cup shredded carrots can use up to 2 cups if you really like carrots Coleslaw Dressing 1 cup mayonnaise 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar white vinegar can be used in a pinch 1 to 2 tablespoons white granulated sugar ½ teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper ½ teaspoon celery seeds optional
Shred cabbage and carrots.
Combine green cabbage, purple cabbage and carrots in a large bowl. Toss to combine.
Prepare Coleslaw Dressing In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, freshly ground black pepper and celery seeds (if using).
Pour the coleslaw dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss until combined.
Cover and chill for 30 minutes to an hour before serving for best flavor. Keep chilled until ready to serve.
