Ingredients
Lime Margarita Salt
2tablespoonskosher saltcan also use sugar if you like it sweet
1limezested
Pineapple Margarita
½cuppineapple chunks
1lime wedge
2tablespoonslime juicefreshly squeezed
3ouncessilver tequila
3ouncespineapple juice
Garnish (Optional)

Instructions
In a shallow bowl, combine the lime zest and kosher salt.
Rim the edge of a glass using a lime wedge and then dip the glass in the margarita salt. Set aside.
In a cocktail shaker, muddle the pineapple chunks and lime wedge.
Add the lime juice, tequila, pineapple juice and ice to the shaker and shake for 30 seconds or so.
Pour or strain into salt rimmed glass with ice.
Garnish each glass with a lime wedge and pineapple wedge or however you like. Serve immediately.
Notes
Canned pineapple can be used instead of fresh.
Turn this a blended frozen margarita by simply combining the ingredients in a blender and add about 1/4 to 1/2 cup ice to the blender for each serving. You can also use frozen pineapple and omit the ice.
