Ingredients

Step 1

Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel. Combine salt, pepper and sage in a small bowl and then sprinkle evenly on both sides of the pork chops.

Step 2

Gently rub the seasoning into the chops. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the pork chops & cook on both sides until golden brown on both sides.

Step 3

Remove the chops to a cutting board or plate and cover with foil. Add butter and remaining tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet.

Step 4

Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute, stirring continuously, or until fragrant. Stir in the honey, apple juice & soy sauce, making sure to scrape all the bits off the bottom of the skillet.

Step 5

Bring the mixture to a simmer and continue cooking, stirring occasionally, for 5 to 7 minutes or until thickened.
