Reece was instantly drawn to the rotating camera and video recorder and for the first few days explored little else. I would catch him walking around the house recording saying, “Here is my room. And this is the floor. And this is Bryce’s room. This is where Bryce sleeps. Let’s go down the hallway.” It was great! And then he would come back and show me what he recorded. One of the very first pictures he took was of these rocks outside and he set that as the wallpaper on the tablet.
Part of his homework assignment is to read two books each night. We’ve downloaded several e-books now that he really enjoys reading. The words are highlighted as they are read so he can start to learn new words as well as recognize words that he already knows.
Some of my favorite features are the 5″ touch screen, rotating camera and tilt sensor. The InnoTab 2 has 2 GB onboard memory and an expandable SD card slot for up to an additional 32 GB of memory. Two styluses were also included which makes me think that the packaging team has at least one mom on it 🙂
Disclosure: I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for VTech. I received product samples to facilitate my review. All opinions are, as always, 100% my own.
