Cheerios recently launched a campaign dedicated to sending Cheer to military families. Cheerios has partenered with the USO in a postcard campaign to spread Cheer to the families of military men and women who are deployed. Right now and through the end of November, specially-marked boxes of Cheerios cereal (shown above) will feature Cheer postcards on the front of the box. All you need to do is cut out the postcard from the Cheerios logo, write a message on the back, add a stamp and mail the pre-addressed card to the USO. The USO will deliver the Cheer card to military families across the country.
Cheerios is generously donating $1 to the USO for every postcard received through November 2012. The donations will be used to help fund programs that support military families. Cheerios has already donated $150,000 to the USO and will donate up to an additional $100,000.
With the holidays quickly approaching, sending a “Cheer” postcard to the families of our military is a wonderful way to express your thanks and appreciation for all that they do.
I come from a family with a long history in the military. It is very hard for the families left behind – especially during the holidays. So if you could please take a moment out of your day to spread some Cheer and send a message of thanks, I know that these families would very much appreciate it! Here is the postcard we are sending:
One lucky winner will win the prize pack shown below which includes the following:
- 1 Cheerios cereal bowl
- 1 Cheerios cereal spoon
- 1 cereal dispenser
- 1 “Cheer” box of Cheerios
There is only one mandatory entry. I would like to know what you would or will say on your postcard to the families of our military.
