Your Creative Timeout Linky Party {No.50}

This weekend we took the boys up to Apple Hill on Saturday.  I was planning on getting some amazing shots so I charged up my camera battery and packed up the DSLR.  Our first stop was High Hill Ranch and the view there are just spectacular so I pulled out my camera all ready to take some pics and NOTHING.  I looked at my screen to see the sweet little message:
NO SD CARD INSERTED

My husband inquired as to where the extra SD cards were that I like to keep in the camera bag.  Sitting on the desk was where they were {having been needed for similar instances on prior occasions}.   Why do I always forget an SD card???  Thankfully my phone takes decent pictures or I would have had a complete meltdown :)

I hope everyone is enjoying cooler weather than I am this week.  Where the heck is Fall anyways???  Here in Sacramento we’ve been in the upper 90′s all week but supposedly we are going to see the 80′s tommorrow…we’ll see :)

If you missed the announcement, I am co-hosting an Iron Chef Mom competition with six other amazing bloggers.  This week’s ingredient is APPLES so head on over to Cheerios and Lattes and link up your apple recipes - new or old!  I’m hosting next week and the ingredient is CHOCOLATE so get those chocolate recipes ready!

I can’t wait to see what you’ve been up to this week!

        I feel your pain about the SD card! My dd5 now reminds me to make sure there’s one in my camera before I start shooting. Having the iPhone as back up now is nice, too.

        I shared a post this week about 2 birthday themes we’ve done – Halloween and the Nutcracker.
