Guacamole Witch Tortilla Bowls {Recipe}

This post brought to you by Avocados from Mexico. All opinions are 100% mine.
Eek!  Halloween is so close it’s eery!!!
We’ve been enjoying Halloween-themed food this week and I am so excited to share these adorable Guacamole Witch Tortilla Bowls with you today!  This idea just popped into my head – POOF – and I love how they turned out!  The small size makes this recipe perfect for appetizers at any party.  My boys enjoyed them for a snack this afternoon :)

What you’ll need:
Blue and yellow corn tortilla chips
Avocados
Lime
Tomato
Sliced olives
Sour Cream
Tortillas – any kind

Directions:
Cut the tortilla into four wedges.

Place one wedge into a muffin tin and press the tortilla to the bottom.

Place more more wedge into the tin to create a bowl.

Trim the edges off the top of the tortillas.

This is how they will look when they’re ready to bake.

Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Spoon sour cream into a plastic bag and cut off the corner – just a little bit!

Make up the guacomole using your favorite recipe, or you can just mash up the avocados and squeeze in some fresh lime juice like I did.  Spoon the guacomole into the bowls and use a blue corn chip for the hat.  Yes blue chips are really close to black :)  Can you see how they look like a witch hat??

Use the olives for eyes, the tomatoes for lips, and break off a corner of a yellow corn chip for the nose.  I used sour cream for hair.  My witches are old!

Here’s a view from the side so you can see what the tortilla bowls look like:
