Sweet Anniversary Gift

Sweet Anniversary Gift Idea with Printables | MomOnTimeout.com #giftidea

Anniversaries are special days and can be made so much sweeter with a thoughtful gift.  Our anniversary was just a few days ago and I gave this Sweet Anniversary Gift Basket to my husband to show him how much I love him.  I spent the last week thinking up cute sayings to go with various candies and then headed to the store to pick them up.  Naturally, I couldn’t find all the ones I was thinking about {whatever happened to Big Hunks??} but I picked up enough to make a nice basket. The basket is lined with Star Wars pajama pants :)  Here’s what I ended up with:

Chris really got a kick out of this fun little gift and it took hardly any time to put together.  I printed out the little notes on 4×6 photo paper and then used craft scissors to create a decorative edge.

  14. Just wondering. Is this your 6th? I am celebrating my 6th this weekend, and the theme for gifts for the 6th anniversary gift is candy. I made something like this for my husband, but it was not really “blog worthy”. Saw you on TT and Jello. Great job, this is super cute!!!

  20. I love this idea but my boyfriend is allergic to peanuts:/ got a couple other things to say where the candy is peanut free?

  21. I made this last night for my husband. Today is our anniversary. He loved it! I added a few extra candies .. 100 Grand (‘being married to you is worth more than 100 grand in the bank’); smarties (‘you’re a smartie for marrying me’) and chuckles (‘most days you make me chuckle’).

To finish off the gift, I put an anniversary card in the basket and enclosed a Sears gift card.

Thanks for the great gift idea .. so glad I found it!

  22. Fantastic ideas, Trish! I pinned these for next year.

  23. This is such a eat idea! My husband has such a sweet tooth and would love this! Thanks for the idea!
