Taking A Timeout Thursday {No.33}

I am currently knee deep in cherries.  We picked, and picked, and picked some more this weekend and we are still not done.  We only have one tree but this year – wow!  Lots of cherries my friends!  We have been giving them away to everyone we can think of and let me tell you, you can make friends fast with cherries :)
Reece had his last T-Ball game of the season on Saturday.  It has been so much fun watching him learn the ins and outs of baseball and watching him progress and have such a great time.  Swim classes start next week so we’re taking this week off – kind of :)

Reece had his kindergarten promotion yesterday.  That was pretty emotional for me.  I can’t believe my baby is all done with kindergarten.  He’s so old!!!  Here he is with his teacher whom he absolutely adores:

So many wonderful projects were linked up last week.  I’m thinking I may have to start highlighting more than four if you guys keep this up ;)  Can’t wait to see what you’ve been up to!

      1. Thanks Trish for the reminder and for hosting!

      2. Thanks for hosting, Trish. You should definitely try the needle-felting. We did and my girls loved it!

      3. I have a kindergartener too graduating here in 5 days. Unbelievable how fast it goes. This is my third one going through kindergarten and I still cry everytime. Thanks for sharing all these great ideas.

      4. Thanks for hosting Trish! Xo, Aimee

      5. I hope to plant a few cherry trees next year. I love cherries and would love to walk out my door and pick my own. YUM!

      6. Thank you so much for hosting, Trish!!

      7. Thanks for hosting! Those cherries look so good! We planted two cherry tree this year. I hope we get some one of these days. I added a tutorial for a homemade happy birthday fruit “cake.” Super cute and not too hard! :-) Have a great week, Trish!

      8. If you have too many cherries you could always send them to me, just sayin! We’ve got a few years before we get any major harvests off our trees. So many cherries, what a wonderful problem to have! Thanks for hosting

      9. Already lots of fun things. Thanks for hosting!

      10. Oh Trish! Those cherries. I feel like diving head first into that pile. You have your own tree in the backyard? That’s incredible. I don’t think I’ve ever known anyone with a cherry tree in their backyard. We do grow them here in Aus but only in very cold climates. You’re so lucky. Have a great weekend Trish and thanks for hosting.
