Thw Woman's group I belong to at church goes to a nursing home each year for Valentine's and we take small useful gifts (socks, note pads, puzzle books, etc..) for all the residents and then we sing for and with them. It's a lot of fun!

I showed I care by baking cookies and making Valentines Day bags with gifts and candy for my grandsons Pre-K party which we attended. Also made cupcakes and all the kids had a wonderful time sandy1955 at comcast dot net
My boyfriend comes over & we have a really nice dinner. It's something special I've made or more likely something delicious we've ordered out. (He really doesn't like me to cook that day!) We exchange gifts & cards. Then we'll cuddle on the couch & watch movies the rest of the night. We don't get to spend much time together, so this is romantic to us!
I do the same things I do every day for Valentines day. I don't want my son to think that just for one day my love for him and his daddy is any different.
I enjoy making heart-shaped foods to make the day special -- our favorite is heart-shaped cinnamon rolls! Not very hard to do and quite yummy. Instead of rolling up your cinnamon roll dough all the way, just roll up half way, then roll the other side up to meet it. Slice into rolls, then pinch the end of the rolls to make the point while the rolled up parts make up the bigger part of the heart.
I show that I care on Valentine's day by making sure I get as many people a little something as I can. Even if it's a few homemade chocolate covered strawberries or a couple homemade cookies,
