Well my home is finally ready for the holidays. I so enjoy all the decorating and fun that comes with Christmas time. My husband told me that our house is more festive than ever this year and I completely agree. We ended up with five trees in the house including the little trees in the boys’ rooms. I shared with you earlier how we shopped at Sears for ornaments that were shatterproof. We were able to decorate our main tree (which is in the family room) in lovely blue and silver. We have two more trees in the living room that our more traditional and feature a lot of our handmade ornaments from this year and years past. Here is a little tour of my home as we inch closer towards Christmas…

I didn’t do it alone – I had little helpers…

It was nice not worrying when the boys were helping me. Knowing that they couldn’t break anything was a dream come true. Shatterproof ornaments from Sears really saved the day (and the season) for me!

The ornaments are so beautiful – they look so fragile…

but they’re not!!
I love how much variety there was in just the one container. It gave our tree a coordinated and cohesive look without all the same ornaments.
